The Ordinary General Assembly of the West Region 2 of UFAK will take place this Friday, December 5th, in the meeting room of the Burkina Faso Karate-Do Federation. Organized in conjunction with the 24th regional championship, this General Assembly will be marked by the presence of the President of UFAK, Souleymane GAYE.

This General Assembly will be an opportunity for the presidents of the member countries (Burkina Faso, Benin, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Liberia, and Togo) to redefine the development strategies for Karate in the region.
The host of the General Assembly is the president of the Burkina Faso Karate-Do Federation, El Hadji Oumar Yugo. Under his leadership, the region has proven itself in international competitions for several years. Furthermore, President Oumar Yugo played a significant role in the election of Souleymane Gaye in Abuja.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly, the delegation from the Regional office paid a courtesy visit to the president of the Burkinabe National Olympic and Sports Committee, CNOSB, Jean Yameogo.
